The 7 Golden Rules of Recording Test Results [Video]

It is especially critical to record test results in accordance with GDocP.

Let’s summarize a few of the critical points.

Rule 1: Take time to ensure information is recorded clearly and legibly

Rule 2: Use attachments and cross references if there is not enough room available

Rule 3: Do not make any stray marks, doodles, or notes

Rule 4: “Show your working out” for calculations

Rule 5: Do not write test results in the manner of “As Expected.” This is unacceptable

Rule 6: Record the actual data

Rule 7: You may use checkboxes but not for variable data
