The Challenge
Our client is focused on delivering GLP training solutions on an annual cadence that would not exceed 1.5 hours of seat time. They want their learners to stay up to date with regulatory changes and be informed on key topic areas of GLP without needing to remove them from their daily job tasks. After all, they are on the mission to find small-molecule therapeutic solutions for diseases with significant patient need. Existing GxP trainings were too high-level and took too long to complete.
The Solution
Our 2024 Annual Refresher Training took on a new approach where each GxP area was its own independent course. These courses were only 5 minutes long and took a scenario-based approach which enabled shorter seat time. This allowed us to specifically pull the GLP Annual Refresher course and avoid training on other GxP areas that were not of interest for this clinical-stage biotechnology company.
Additionally, in 2024, the LearnGxP team began to develop more GLP-specific courses, which are all ~10-15 minutes in duration. In combination of the GLP Annual Refresher Module and the newly developed GLP Courses, we were able to develop a customized GLP Annual Refresher Training Plan for this client that successfully met their duration and skill-level criteria.
The Impact
As this clinical-stage biotechnology company works to develop immunological and oncological therapeutics to address diseases where there is significant patient need, LearnGxP was able to remove the training strategy burden off this client’s shoulders. We were able to outline a customized learning plan to address their 2024 GLP Annual Refresher Training Program needs by identifying short seat time trainings that cover in-depth GLP Topic areas such as Animal Welfare, Quality Assurance Functions, and Records and Retention.
