GDocP: Making Multiple Corrections on a Document

There may be cases where multiple corrections of data are necessary.

Reasons for Multiple Corrections

This could be caused, for example, when the year changes and the individual recording the data used the previous year (a common mistake).

Making Multiple Corrections

In these cases:

  1. Strike through the original entry;
  2. Add the correct data and enter a superscript next to the correction see example below;
  3. In a clear spot on the page, write “(1)” write an explanation, and initial or sign and date the note.
