We all know that pharmaceutical and vaccine products can save lives and bring back the health of patients, but what if these products are contaminated?
Well, the presence of contaminants in pharmaceutical and vaccine products can reduce or even inactivate the therapeutic activity of the products and can lead to serious health risks to the patients consuming such products, including death.
So, can we do anything to prevent product contamination?
Certainly! Contamination can be controlled by effective management of drug-manufacturing areas and processes, and by establishing robust control measures.
In this course, we will learn about the basics of pharmaceutical contamination and the control measures used to prevent it. We’ll also review how you can take direct action to prevent contamination. Lastly, the course will provide a brief review of the regulations and guidelines created by health authorities regarding pharmaceutical contamination control.
